We left Florence early to head to Venice. We had a stop in Padua to see a church and have lunch on our own about an hour or so.
Most of you know that I am a wearer of Zox bracelets and many of you have received one or more as a gift from me. Today I met a fellow Zoxer, Giorgia Fraccaroli and we had lunch together during my visit to Padua Italy. We met on the Zox VIP fb page when I shared I would be traveling through Italy. We were only together a short time, it was really great to meet her, her husband, Gianluca, and their 6 y/o daughter, Aurora. A beautiful family. The Zox (photos 2-3 are the straps she brought for me and I brought 2 pearls and 2 straps for her (photo 5).
Back on the bus to Venice. We arrived and had a short walk to our boat to take us to Venice. It was a fun 20 minute ride. Some walking to get to hotel. A little bit of a wait for luggage to arrive. Walked around a bit and went to St. Mark’s Square. We made our way to spot for our gondola rides. There were ten gondolas for the 40 of us. Two had musicians and the one I was on had one! It was so fun! Back to hotel for group dinner. After that we walked around the square again and did some window shopping.
